If you need assitance pre-project, we use noise modelling software to evaluate outdoor noise and provide professional design advice at early planning stages.

We use CadnaA noise modelling software to help predict and assess noise levels.

This helps you to make decisions about your scheme ahead of time, being a cost effective and helpful tool to use in your project,  for example, in and around:

  • Roads, railways and airports
  • Sport and leisure facilities including pubs and clubs and outdoor events
  • Industrial facilities
  • Other noise sources including ventilation plant

 

Our acoustic consultants gather and input data concerning the landscape of your project, the acoustic characteristics of your site informed by planning regulations.

Assisted by the software, we create a visual simulation in the form of a coloured noise map wich allows you to ‘see’ the noise levels that will be produced on the basis of your design.

This is helpful in pre-empting issues with your design, build and planning submissions, potentially saving costs.
